Pima County Center for recently released prisoners who are considered “success” as “success”

The goal of the Pima County Transition Center is to repeat perpetrators and reduce the population of the Pima County prison.

According to the center of the center of the center, Doyle R. Morrison, things are going well.

On average nationwide, the rate of people who are booked back to prison 30 days after publication is 27%. For those who have undergone the transition center, this number falls to 11%.

“We believe it was a success,” said Morrison. “Since we started the program, we have probably dealt with around 1,500 people who came through our transition center and used our services to navigate the judicial system.”

According to Morrison, 90% or more of these people use any kind of services from the center.

The center is working on expanding the program to weekends. At the moment it works 8 a.m., Monday to Friday.
