Pirates Spring Breakout Game Kader published

The second annual Spring Breakout game for the pirates will be played against the Phillies on March 14th in the Baycare Baseball Stadium in Clearwater, Florida. The first game played for the pirates last year was against the Orioles in Lecom Park, in which Paul Slenes had a showdown with Orioles Top Prospect Jackson Holiday. The Bucs won the game 3-1.

The pirates published their squad for the game of the next week, which the Top Prupect Bubba Chandler and five other players from their Top 10 Prospect list follow. These include SS/CF Konnor Griffin (No. 2), 2b Termarr Johnson (No. 4), LHP Hunter Barco (No. 7), Shortstop Wyatt Sanford (No. 8) and RHP Zander Mueth (No. 10).

RHPS Thomas Harrington (No. 3) and Braxton Ashcraft (No. 6) together with INF/by Nick Yorke (No. 5) do not take part in the game because they fight for a squad square on the opening day. A total of 18 of the 30 best views of the pirates (according to MLB pipeline) are on the list.

The Phillies will contain four of their five best prospects in the game: SS AIDAN Miller, CF Justin Crawford, C Eduardo Tait and RhP Moises Chaace. Her number 1, RhP Andrew Painter, returns from Tommy John surgery and is not on the squad.
