Pitbull Terrier Dot is looking for a loving home for a hard start

Dot, a 2-year-old Pitbull Terrier, is looking for a new home after being left behind by her previous owner. According to Haley Hardison, an animal control officer, Dot has been in animal welfare in Beaufort County for about a month.

“She came from a property where she was left behind by her owner and her puppies did not make it out of the property,” said Hardison. “She was in a chain most of her life. If not all her life.”

Despite her difficult past, Dot has a “very playful personality,” said Hardison. “She loves to run and explore. She loves attention and loves to apply to get out and play.”

Hardison believes that Dot would thrive in any kind of home as long as her new family can give her the time and attention she needs. The adoption fee of DOT is 85 US dollars, including its rabies shots, spaying, microchip and some initial vaccinations.

Dot is currently in the Beaufort County Animal Services in Washington, NC Potential Adopter are encouraged to visit and meet Dot, which could be her next “happy charm”.
