Points, schedule and more for teams from the Dallas region

The 2025 Uil Girls Basketball State tournament will take place in San Antonio on Thursday to Saturday.

Four area teams (Lincoln, Denton Ryan, Fort Worth Boswell, Cedar Hill) will try to conquer state crowns.

Remarkable: The Junior Guard Ar'jayla Elder has an average of 13.5 points a team high and she had a 50-point game against Desoto in November, but in the last two playoff games she only scored nine when the 5:10 Freshman Guard Lanae Dallas took over. In a regional final victory against Godley, Dallas scored a season high of 29 points, which took number 14 in the state, Jada Patterson then scored for team height against State No. 3 Glen Rose at the semi -final victory on Tuesday. Dallas scored an average of 11.6 points for the best-placed 4A team of the state, which has won 15 in a row. All-State Guard Grace Spencer, the 6-1 striker T'anna Saddler and Patterson, are back this year after combining 40 points in a state champion Waco La Vega with 65-60 double-coaster losses in a state semi-finals. Lincoln has six victories against teams, who ended the top 11 in the top 11 in 6a or 5a and two five-star all-Americans defeated Aaliyah Chavez from Lubbock Monterey and South Carolina Signe Ayla McDowell from Cypress Springs.

Cuero (33-6)

Remarkable: Cuero makes a 20-game victory in his first finals, but faced only one state top 25 team in the playoffs and hit No. 10 Bridge City in the state semi-finals. In the regular season, Arissa Carbonara achieved an average of 17.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and 4.6 Steals-Alle Team highs and 6-2 senior post players in Blöcken took second place in the team (2.7 per game). Aubrey Bowles, a 6-3 senior post player, led Cuero in Blöcken (3.2 blocks) and an average of 14.5 points and 10.0 rebounds. Carbonara shot 48% to 48% from the field and bowles shot 47%. In the regular season, Cuero only made 52 3 points as a team and shot 23%.

Remarkable: Ryan won 12 games in a row and only approved three times more than three times more than three times during this period. Kaylin Jackson and Kinley Lewis anchor the team's defense. Ryan scored 17 times 60 or more points this season. The security guard Zaviyana Madison leads the team with 13.4 points per game. Remarkable: The point guard of San Antonio Wagner Leonna “La” Sneed, a five-star signer from Utah, was rated as number 26 in the nation for the 2025 class. Sneed achieved an average of 18 points as Sophomore in Wagner's last State Tournament appearance in 2023. In a 67-63 win with 9-rank win with 9-rank-theoreted Georganged Georganged Georganged Georgange Georanged. The high -ranking team in class 5a of the state extended its winning streak to 25 games and entered his first state championship game.

Remarkable: Boswell, who has won 14 games in a row since December and has not lost any competition since December, will appear at State for 48 years. The nationally classified program went in District 3-6a 12: 0 for the district title. The Senior Guard Camille Williams, a four-star Miami signator, scores an average of 16.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.2 steals per game. Boswell entered the playoffs as team No. 2 in class 6a.

Fort Bend Hightower (34-5)

Remarkable: Hightower was 14-0 for the district in District and has won 23 games in a row since December. This year is the first time that high -tower competes with State as a 6a team and his last three appearances in class 5a. The northeastern signatories Kailee Beaudion and Sophomore Ogechi Okeke are among the outstanding players of hightower.

Remarkable: After Cedar Hill took third place in District 11-6a, he has achieved a surprising run for his first State Championship game since 1997. Cedar Hill scored the regular season victories against the Semifinalist of the State of Lancaster and Frisco Memorial and then defeated defending champion Duncanville in a regional finale. Senior striker Rylan Jones achieved 17 against Duncanville and 23 at Plano East's semi-finals and on average she has a team high of 13.3 points for the season. The high -ranking striker Brooklyn King scored 15 against Plano East and an average of 11.9 points, and Makiyah Risby has an average of 10.5 points. King made 47 3-point teams and Risby did 46.

Humble Summer Creek (29-11)

Remarkable: The previous three trips from Summer Creek to the Staatsturnier ended with semi-final losses compared to teams in Dallas-after Desoto in 2019, after South Grand Prairie in 2022 and last year to Duncanville. Unranged Summer Creek has three state teams in the playoffs in the playoffs-Pearland No. 15, Pearland Dawson No. 8 and Cibolo Steele No. 20. The Junior Point Guard Kennedy Simpson and Sophomore Addison Martin scored 18 points each in a 60-31 semi-final victory against Steele. Simpson and the 6-1 senior post player Taiya Kikunga are the only two starters from the team who lost 39: 31 against the state champion Duncanville last year. Summer Creek almost defeated State No. 1-rank Judson in the regular season this year and lost 47-45 in November.
