The major sale of the triumphal expansion is Arceus ex, A map adjustment of the divine God Pokémon, which defines the mythology of the series. Arceus Ex is a colorless/normal Pokémon and has the unique ability to “say legend”, which means that it cannot be influenced by special conditions. However, a large part of Arceus' power is better bound “Link capabilities”, Passive forces that trigger it in certain other cards from the expansion. For example, the triumphal light version of Raichu has the “Resilience Link” ability, which is “if you have Arceus or Arceus ex in the game, this Pokemon -30 damage has been caused by attacks.” Different Pokémon get different buffs in Arceus' presence, although none of them seem to influence Arceus back (at least as we have seen so far). Will this be enough for Arceus -Builds to find your way into the Pokemon TCG bag Best Decks Tier list? It is difficult to say at the moment, especially with colorless or extremely type diverse decks that rarely play a lot in the meta. Nevertheless, Arceus could be powerful enough to break through.
