Pokémon TCG Pocket passed 100 million downloads

According to Pokémon Company, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket passed 100 million downloads.

Pokémon TCG Pocket was released at the end of October 2024 and had an impressive start. According to reports, he made a profit of $ 120 million in the first two weeks.

Now the game with which players collect virtual cards and act with friends has hit another impressive milestone: 100 million downloads.

This week a new special expansion, triumphant light, was published. This plays the Pokémon Arceus prominently, who debut in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl on the Nintendo DS.

“We would like to say that Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has reached over 100 million downloads worldwide,” said the Pokémon TCG -Pocket developer Dena. “Many thanks to everyone who tried our game.”

Dena also confirmed that rank load games, a function that has been very requested since the app was introduced was soon added to the game.

“We develop and operate the game so that everyone can enjoy it even more, and we plan to add ranking games and continue to add further Booster packs and to organize a variety of events in the future.”

The Pokémon company said that there is no plans to add Pokémon TCG bag to the list of competitive Pokémon games.

“We always look at different titles,” said Chris Brown, director of the Pokemon Company from Global Esports, during an interview with VGC.

“Pokemon Sleep is out there too,” said Brown with a laugh. In April last year, the Pokemon Company released a parody trailer for the Pokemon Sleep Champion tournament to celebrate the April Fool's joke.

“But at this point there are no plans for the Pokemon bag, but we always look at things.”
