Police examined fatal shootings in West Charlotte, the third murder in 24 hours

Charlotte, NC – The police examined a fatal shootout in West Charlotte, the third murder in less than 24 hours.

It happened around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning in the 4800 block of the Wilkinson Boulevard near the Mulberry Church Road.

The police said the victim was shot after he had come into discussion with an armed security guard. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

This is the third murder that took place in West Charlotte on Saturday.

The first passed on Saturday around 11 a.m. in the 6100 block of the Old Mount Holly Road. The police found a woman who was assumed to deal with a medical problem. She was taken to the hospital, where medical staff discovered a gunshot wound on her chest. She later died of the consequences of her injuries.

The other murder occurred around 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of the Lucky Penny Street near Freedom Drive. When the police arrived, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Medic declared the victim dead at the scene.
