Police ID Tenager killed by Franklinton Shooting

Due to the circumstances of the shootout, the police said that it would refer the case to the public prosecutor of the Franklin district for potential criminal charges.

Columbus, Ohio-Die police, identified and killed a teenager in Franklinton as a 14-year-old boy on Saturday morning.

Columbus Division of Police officers were called in the 100 block of the Dana Avenue near West Town Street around 1:20 a.m.

On the arrival, the police arrested several people and learned that the teenager, who was identified as Braiden Johnson, was taken to a hospital by a family member.

A dispatcher of public security told 10TV Johnson to Mount Carmel Franklinton, where he was declared dead around 1:35 a.m.
