Police investigations briefly close the North Exchange Street in Geneva – Finger Lakes Daily News

The law enforcement agencies reacted to an investigation in the Hogarth Street in Geneva on Thursday afternoon. At around 12:45 p.m., the police authority of Geneva and the office of the Sheriff from Ontario County supported the New York State Troopers at the scene.

While the details remain limited due to the type of examination, the authorities emphasized that the public was never in danger. As a precaution, Geneva PD temporarily closed both to the north and south of the North Exchange Street.

A male subject was arrested and no injuries were reported.
