Police investigations shooting in the CT Bar on St. Patrick's Day

At St. Patrick's Day, the police examine an incident with shots in the bar in Willimantic.

According to the Willimantic Police Department, the officials responded to a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. in the 49 High St. in the 49 High St.

Arrest officials found an adult man who had suffered a grazing gunshot wound on the arm, the police said. He was brought to Windham Hospital for treatment.

According to the police, the suspect fled the scene immediately after shooting together with numerous guests of the bar.

A preliminary investigation showed that the incident may be due to a dispute between the residents and did not seem to be accidental, the police said. According to the police, the municipality or the nearby college campus does not seem to give a continuing threat.

The police said that detectives also examine the possibility of an additional victim or other parties who have not yet reported. Everyone is asked to contact Detective Tatro under 860-465-3135.
