Police training academy examined at Cape, trainers from positions removed – Boston News, Wetter, Sport

Falmouth, trade fair. (WHDH) – The Police Training Academy on the Cape is examined for alleged misconduct, and all employee instructors were removed from their positions in the facility in East Falmouth.

The city police training committee said that the academy director and coordinator was also exposed to further investigations.

The academy led by the state offers new police officers in Massachusett's basic training.

The committee said the investigation began on February 26th. In a letter to police chiefs, MPTC said that it was carrying out a thorough review of the procedures and practices.

“Any form of harassment, harassment or misconduct is clearly unacceptable and violates our basic values ​​for integrity, respect and professionalism,” wrote Rick Rathbun, Executive Director from MPTC.

Since Enrique Delgado Garcia's death, who died in September in September, which he had suffered during a boxing game on the Massachusetts State Police Academy in New Braintree, has been increased on police training in Massachusetts.

His death is still being examined.
