Investigation

To start with our investigation, we used Google Lens to search for the first picture, but found no trace of it on a credible website or on a social media account. We anchored our search and cut the picture to concentrate on Elon Musk. This led us to an article published on September 11, 2020 on the dailymail.co.uk website. According to the article, the picture was taken in Berlin.

A more precise inspection showed that the image of Elon Muschus in the viral post matches that from the article “Daily Mail”.

Next we searched for the second picture in the viral post, but did not find any reliable sources or websites that publish it.
