The Tech expert, Sonny Dickson, known for reliable Apple Leaks, recently shared pictures of Dummy units that represent the iPhone 17 series, probably starting in September 2025.

This dummy models are created based on leaked design schemics and CAD files with which accessories manufacturers can prepare cases and accessories before the official publication.

The pictures confirm several important design elements. The iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max both have an elongated rectangular camera base, in which three lenses, an LED flash and a microphone are housed.

The iPhone 17 Air has a similar camera base, but contains only a single lens. The standard -iPhone 17 seems to keep a design similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 16.

Based on several leaks, renders and CAD files, these designs are closely related to previous reports, which indicates that they are very precise.

One of the greatest revelations in this dummy models is the confirmation of two functions on the iPhone 17 air, which had not yet been mentioned.

The first is Magsafe Support. Previous rumors indicated that the iPhone 17 Air may not support Magsafe due to its ultra-thin design.

However, the Dummy model confirms that Magsafe will continue to be available to ensure compatibility with wireless charging and magazine tour.

The second is the action button that replaces the conventional silent switch. This corresponds to the transition from Apple to action buttons that can be seen for the first time on the iPhone 15 Pro models.

This leak provides the first solid evidence that confirm the action button on the iPhone 17 air.

In an earlier report, the iPhone 17 air could introduce a camera tax button and that the latest Dummy models seem to support this claim.

On the side side, the iPhone 17-air appears significantly thinner than the other three iPhone 17 models, which reinforces speculation about the ultra-thin form factor.

According to Macrumors, the iPhone 17 Air has an aluminum frame instead of the titanium used in Pro models.

The thickness is expected to be about 6 mm, with some reports from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicate that it could be as thin as 5.5 mm at its slimest point.

If this is exactly, the iPhone 17 air would be the thinnest iPhone ever, even slimmer than the iPhone 6, which measure 6.9 mm in 2014.

Compared to current models, the iPhone 17 air would be 30 percent thinner than the iPhone 16, which is 7.8 mm and 33 percent thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro, which measures 8.25 mm.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series in September, including the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Pro, the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone 17 Air.

There are contradictory reports on the pricing of iPhone 17 Air. The information indicates that you may be more expensive than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which begins at 1,199 US dollar.

Analyst Jeff PU believes that he will replace the plus variant and positions it as an iPhone with medium range. A separate report from China shows that the price of the iPhone 17 Air could match the iPhone 16 Plus, which begins at 899 US dollars in the USA

After months before Apple's official announcement, further leaks and price details will be created.
