Premier League Darts Live result: Luke Littler beats Aspinall to win at night 5, cross and humphries

A little comfort

Luke Humphries spoke after a 9-bar, but unloaded in the quarter-finals and said: “It's a nice second prize. I am very happy to meet the nine.

“Rob played a fantastic game and almost 112 on average.

“I would have preferred to win the game. When I told me in Belfast, I said I would like to win one.

“The golden darts are really amazing, but I am disappointed to lose the game.

“Fortunately, it was shown. It would be very disappointing to meet my first nine and it hadn't appeared on TV.

“I will not sell them, they are nicely exhibited in my house.”

How we stand

This is how the table of the Premier League looks five after night.

Luke Humphries's commanding lead is not quite as commanding this evening as at 7 p.m.

Stephen Bunting not yet getting off the brand, but look at Nathan Aspinall in third place!

More from Luke

With two 9-bars who go in and he doesn't go to any of them, he added: “I tried it!

“I have to go golden darts for you, but I have a few more weeks left.

“My main goal is obviously the top four and make it into the O2, in which the right title defense takes place. My eyes are now on the euro tour.

“I have always been confident in my own skills, but the way my darts are going are, they are probably the best that I have ever played on a consistent basis.”
