Prime Video Integration English/Spanic Ai, which synchronizes on licensed films, TV series

Prime Video has started to arrange in selected countries and territories with subtitles, captions and audio descriptions in licensed films and series in English and Latin American Spanish.

The initiative begins with 12 licensed films and series, including titles such as El Cid: La Leyenda, Mi Mamá LoraPresent And Long.

The AI-side pilot program is a hybrid approach for synchronizing, in which localization experts work with AI to ensure quality control. AI-AIDED processes such as this, which contain the right amount of human expertise, can enable localization for titles that are not accessible to customers, according to Amazon.

“In Prime Video, we believe in improving the experience of customers with practical and useful AI innovations,” said RAF Soltanovich, VP of Technology at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios. “Ai-side synchronization is only available on titles that have no synchronization, and we strive to explore a new way to make series and films more accessible and pleasant.”
