Prime Video tests the synchronization of AI-driven synchronization in shows and films

In streaming era, international shows and films are more accessible than ever. At this point, many of them are likely to be used to seeing subtitles or deciding on the DUB if they cannot bother to read a series of text. Unfortunately, not every title has a dub, which is why Prime Video is a solution to AI.

On Wednesday, Amazon announced that the synchronization of Ai-side synchronization for licensed films and shows that would otherwise not be referred to.

If Amazon uses this technology for content that may otherwise never be synchronized in other languages, I am all for it. I would rather be paid for the vocal cables to be accepted than to listen to a robot who imitates a human voice, but if the studio simply does not have the time or resources to achieve this, this could be an affordable compromise.

Nevertheless, I took the Ki -Dub from El Cid: La Leyenda For a shoot and I wasn't exactly blown away. The AI ​​lacks the ability to effectively modulate its emotions, which leads to a rather lifeless voice -over. I am aware that this is just a pilot program, but I can't imagine sitting and hearing a dub of this quality for an hour, let alone a whole season of a show.
