Prime Video UK director Chris Bird, who resigned after 14 years

After 14 years, Chris Bird leaves his role as director of Prime Video UK.

In the last few minutes, the EU director of Prime Video Brigitte Ricou-Bellan informed Bird's exit employees and found that he will leave this business this month.

A search for a successor who has managed the Prime Video UK Business since 2021 will start shortly.

Bird is probably the longest reigning streaming manager from Amazon. He entered the business in 2011 when Amazon Lovefilm acquired what worked in Great Britain and Germany at the time. Amazon bought a minority stake in LOVEFILM in 2008, which continued his connection to the Tech -Riese.

After he had joined, he had managed content acquisition teams across Europe when Amazon introduced his first -class video service all over the world.
