Prisoner of the people who pee into the shower

According to new research, almost a quarter of the Americans regularly pee into the shower.

A survey of 2,000 Americans of the general population showed that 12% do this daily, while a few more 12% division a few times a week.

A quarter of the millennials even pointed out that peeing into the shower is a daily practice, compared to only 13% of the gene X and 6% of baby boomers.

A total of 45% of Americans pee into the shower over the course of the average year.

Clint Kreider, licensed marriage and family therapist with Still Wellness Group, offers psychological insights into what some would consider as taboos practice.

“Peeing into the shower often reflects our modern obsession with multitasking – even in moments for relaxation,” said Kreider.

But we don't overlook the symbolism: the shower is one of the few places where we are really alone with our thoughts. “Habits that are formed in private rooms often reflect how we deal with stress. If the shower pine and becomes a compulsive need to “optimize” every second, this can signal a deeper concern about the time shortage. Women, pelvic floor therapists rightly warn that the floating or “push” -Mid -Shower could unnecessarily tense the muscles. Imagine this as a metaphor: forcing something (even pee) under pressure rarely ends well. ”

Only 39% stated that they are the only user of their shower.

Two out of five (41%) share with their partner, while 18% share it with their children.

And despite all the use it achieved, the results found that the average American cleans their shower only nine times a year.

In addition to urination, the Americans (27%) sing, plan the coming day (23%) and reflect the previous day (19%) during the shower.

Almost every fourth millennials (23%) even think about work or crying (15%).

The results also showed that the Americans believe that the average shower should only take 13 minutes.

Perhaps the average millennial is the time to reflect on the swimming, singing, singing and crying, and believes that a shower should take a total of 17 minutes.
