Prospects to observe in 12 positions during the 2025 NFL combinat

Indianapolis – While the cowboys are preparing for the first season for Brian Schottenheimer's first season, they will watch the NFL Draft 2025 to try players who help the team withdraw from a 7-10 season in 2024.

The next big step to achieve this goal is the evaluation and questioning of views on the NFL combination in Indianapolis. The players will start on Thursday through exercise and tests, but the interviews will start earlier a week.

Here are some prospects that can keep an eye on the whole week because it is possible cowboys -draft picks.

Quarterback: Kyle McCord, Syracus – Both Cooper Rush and Trey Lance are unrestricted freelance agents in this low season. Therefore, it would not be surprising if Dallas had decided to design a quarterback in the later rounds to offer a deep behind DAK Prescott, one or both of the above -mentioned quarterback should continue. This could come in the form of McCord, who led the nation into the yards last season after moving Syracuse from the state of Ohio. He has many college experiences and can do the throws that scouts want to see, and over time he could prove to be a reliable option in the position.

To see others: Seth Henigan, Memphis, Tyler Shough, Louisville

Return: Jordan James, Oregon – Ashton Jeanty will probably steal the show in the running back position, but this class is very deep and has future starters that are apparently littered. James certainly has the potential to fit this form after a productive last season in Oregon. The cowboys currently only have two running backs on their active squad, and if they decide to wait until the 2 or 3 day, James' ability to be on the field on all three downs in combination with plus speed is one Welcome addition.

To see others: Damien Martinez, Miami, Jaydon Blue, Texas, DJ Giddens, State of Kansas

Breit receiver: Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona – The most recent bills see how McMillan gets to the cowboys at 12 noon, and if this happens, it could be solid theft for Dallas. You are looking for a recipient to add Ceedee Lamb and McMillan would be perfect. He is a big, sporty exterior recipient, the defender with his size and the ability to overwhelm with controversial clutches. Don't be surprised if his test numbers locked him into the top 10 picks of the design, but if he actually slides to the cowboys, it would have the potential to be a massive theft.

Others to see: Keandre Lambert-Smith, Auburn, Jaylin Noel, Iowa State, Jack Bech, TCU

Engstest end: Mason Taylor, LSU – Taylor, one of the younger views in this design cycle, was productive in three seasons at the LSU. His father, Taylor, played for the cowboys fromTo_ And if Dallas continued to store talent in the position, Taylor would make a lot of sense with strong hands to make difficult catches in traffic. That means it is also an overcrowded space. So don't be surprised if the cowboys in this design go without a close selection.

Others to see: Gunnar Helm, Texas, Luke Lachey, Iowa, Jalin Conyers, Texas Tech

Offensive tackle: Josh Simmons, state of Ohio – When it is healthy, Band shows that Simmons is one of the best offensive tackles in this class. The problem is his __ injury, which for the majority of the 2024 season made him eliminate and has expressed concerns for teams that went to Indianapolis. The Medicals On Simmons are crucial for the place where he was designed, and if he is all clear or in a positive direction, he will probably be a choice in the first round and could be someone that the cowboys thinks when they want to stock up on insulting linemen.

Others to see: Kelvin Banks, Texas, Armand Membou, Missouri, Aireontaeery, Minnesota

Official guard: Tyler Booker, Alabama – After Zack Martin was retired, the right waxplace in the cowboy's offensive line can be won. Both Brock Hoffman and TJ Bass have experience there and could be in line next, but if Dallas decides to look at the draft for the heir from Martin's throne, Booker could fit the bill perfectly. He is fantastic in the running game and plays aggressively on the series of scrimmage and second level, and it is difficult to move in pass protection.

Others to see: Donovan Jackson, state Ohio, Luke Kandra, Cincinnati, Gray Zabel, state of North Dakota

Middle: Seth McLaughlin, Ohio State – In a center class that is not expected that it is very deep, McLaughlin stands out due to his experience and the strong last season of his college career in the state of Ohio. Similar to his team -mate Josh Simmons, Medicals will be the big question mark, since McLaughlin has missed the end of the Buckeyes national championship _ Injury. If the cowboys choose to move Cooper Beebe in the replacement of Zack Martin, there could be an option in the middle to design a player like McLaughlin who is played well in the position.

To see others: Jonah Monheim, USC ?, Jake Majors, Texas

Defensive Tackle: Darius Alexander, Toledo – After a strong performance in the Senior Bowl, Alexander's share did nothing other than climbing, and he has the opportunity to continue to increase her with a good week at the combine. The cowboys have many defensive duels in this draft, and Alexander's combination of size and strength paired in the middle of the defense line, with Micah Parsons that come from the edge, would be difficult to use for the opposing offensive lines.

To see others: Kenneth Grant, Michigan, Walter Nolen, Ole Miss, TJ Steward, South Carolina

Rand: Mike Green, Marshall – Another massive winner in the senior bowl is a view that could catapult himself into a top 15 election if he is not already there. The head of the nation in bags last season at 17 has a hand of reaching the quarterback and has a great bend and sportiness to penetrate the Backfield. With another productive edge -rusher towards Micah Parsons, Dallas' Pass Rush would have the chance to improve even more.

Others to see: Oluwafemi Oladejo, Ucla, Donovan Ezeiruaku, Boston College, Shemar Stewart, Texas A & M.

Linebacker: Jalon Walker, Georgia – Walker is one of the most fascinating case studies in the class because he argues whether he is considered an edge -rusher or linebacker. Walker flashed on several points in the 2024 season after the quarterback and has the closing speed to serve as a reliable espionage for more mobile opposing quarterbacks. Where walker is drawn in, a by -product will probably be how teams see their best skills, and that could let him up or drop, depending on how his week runs in the combine harvester. The cowboys need a depth in the LineBacker position, and a versatile piece like walker would provide and some others.

Others to see: Jeffery Bassa, Oregon, Carson Schwesinger, Ucla, Chris Paul Jr., Ole Miss

Cornerback: Jahdae Barron, Texas – Versatility is the name of Barron's game because he has the opportunity to play everywhere in the defensive backfield. Barron spent his last season in the Cornerback in Texas and won the Jim Thorpe Award, but played in the past in the Nickel position, an area in which Matt Eberflus defended was successful. Cornerback is another position in which the cowboys are thin, and since Trevon Diggs may be missing some of the 2025 season, Dallas may want to select a corner earlier to fill the gap.

Others to see: Zah Frazier, Utsa, Maxwell Hairston, Kentucky, Upton Stout, Western Kentucky, Nohl Williams, Cal

Security: RJ Mickens, Clemson – Mickens is a graduate of the Southlake Carroll High School in the DFW region and is an experienced security that releases the productive fifth season in Clemson, in which he pays 55 duels, two interceptions and five PBus. Mickens does a good job to diagnose games early and to be downhill in run play, an area that is certainly emphasized under a matt Eberflus defense, which could mean that Mickens can join the fold to try the run to stop.

To see others: Andrew Mukuba, Texas, Xavier Watts, Notre Dame
