Public meeting in the fire brigade 4 replacement project

County News:

Los Alamos County Public Works and the fire brigade of Los Alamos invite the public to a personal meeting on the replacement project of the fire brigade 4.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the fire brigade's training room on the third floor of the LAFD administration offices in the 999 Central Ave.

The project is in the design phase after the decision of the Council last November to build the new facility next to the existing structure at 4401 Diamond Drive.

The upcoming meeting on March 6th enables the district's project team to present the area of the new fire brigade, to share the general location layout and to discuss design considerations in order to minimize the effects on the open space.

After the public session, the project will be presented to the planning and zoning committee in April to check a combined map change of the secondary zones and a new record application.
