Pueblo's proportion of the suspicious court proceedings begins

Pueblo, Colorado (KKTV) – The first day of the certificate in a top -class Pueblo attempt that is completed on Thursday.

The process is for Solomon Martinez, who is accused of having killed a woman in Pueblo in January 2024.

The jury selected on Thursday morning, shortly before lawyers made their opening statements.

Some important evidence were shown in the courtroom, including body -hugging camera material and an image of the victim's separated hand in a plastic bag.

The Body CAM film material came from one of the adhering officers, Shelby Clausson. The video shows the moment they arrested Martinez and began to search his person. Finally he found the separated hand in a plastic bag in Martinez 'jacket pocket.

Martinez is charged with the first degree murder and a body is misused.

In its opening statements, the defense asked the jury to consider Martinez to be guilty of abusing a body, but said that he did not kill Rene Portillo.

However, the public prosecutor claimed in its opening statements that Martinez did because he wanted it and he wanted: “Try it.”

Martinez will be back to court on Friday and at least two more witnesses are appointed to testify.
