Qatar Airways international flight schedule changes for the summer of 2025

Doha- Qatar Airways (QR) has introduced several adjustments to the schedule of northern summer 2025 (NS25), which influences the routes in Europe, Asia, Africa and America. These changes include aircraft changes, frequency increases and seasonal reductions.

Qatar Airways' (QR) Northern summer 2025 contains remarkable changes in several goals.

The adjustments primarily include aircraft types and frequency changes in order to better align seasonal demand and operational goals.

Aircraft changes and route adjustments

  • Doha – Algiers: The daily service remains, which is operated by an Airbus A330-300 instead of the previously planned Boeing 777-300.
  • Doha – Bangkok Suvarnabhumi: The frequency increases between June 20 and September 7 from 35 to 38 a week. Three additional A380 flights replace 777-300 and increase the entire A380 service to 10 a week.
  • Doha – Basra: Continued with a mixture of 777-300, A320 and 787-8 aircraft, with a daily frequency being maintained.
  • Doha – Damascus: An A330-300 will replace the previously planned A330-200 for daily operation from May 1st.
  • Doha – Denpasar: Equipment adjustments include 787-8 from March 30 to May 31, then a switch to 777-300 from June 1.
  • Doha – Frankfurt: From July 1st, the service will increase from 18 to 20 weekly using 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.
  • Doha – Hanoi: The flights rise from 14 to 17 weekly, except from June 15th to 30th with a mixture of 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.
  • Doha – Ho Chi Minh City: The Nonstop QR974/975 service will pass on a 787-8 on May 5 with a subsequent shift to 787-9 from September 15th.
  • Doha – Isfahan: The service will continue on August 1 with a two-week A320 operation.
  • Doha – London Gatwick: With effect from July 16, both daily flights from 787-9 are operated instead of the 787-8.
  • Doha – beautiful: The frequency increases from September 9th to 9th to seven weekly with A350-900 operation.
  • Doha – Phuket: Entertains 14 weekly flights instead of the originally planned 10-11 weekly schedule from May 5th to 31st.
  • Doha – Zurich: From May 1 to June 2 and September 9 to September 29, the service is reduced from 14 to 12 a week, with selected data being upgraded to A350-1000.

Frequency reductions and cancellations

  • Doha – Belgrade: The frequency is reduced in May 1 to June 2 and October 2 to October 25th with an A320 from seven to five a week.
  • Doha – Copenhagen: The service drops a week between May 1 and June 2 from June 2 to 12.
  • Doha – Paris Charles de Gaulle: The frequency reduces between May 2 and July 1 from 21 to 17 a week.
  • Doha – Rome Fiumicino: Weekly flights decrease from 21 to 18 to 18 from May 2 to 31.
  • Doha – Geneva: The service is reduced from May 5th and 28th from seven to five a week.
  • Doha – Osaka Kansai: Weekly flights drop from June 4 from seven to five.
  • Doha – New York JFK: The planned seasonal frequency increase from 18 to 21 weekly between May 31 and September 29th is canceled.
  • Doha – Los Angeles: The planned seasonal increase from seven to 10 a week (and 14 a week from June 30th to August 31st) is canceled.
  • Doha – Lyon: The service will be completely canceled from April 30th.
  • Doha – Mersin: The planned three -week seasonal service between June 8 and August 24th is canceled.

New and resumed services

  • Doha – Malta: Four weekly A320 flights again on July 2 and mark the return of the route last served in 2020.
  • Doha – Tokyo Narita: The frequency increases from 11 to 14 weekly, whereby additional services are operated from 777-200LR/-300 from July 3.
  • Doha – Maputo – Durban: The service increases from five to seven weekly and will be operated by A350-900 from June 3.
  • Doha – Entbbe: From June 1st, the flights will increase from seven to 11 weekly with 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.
  • Doha – Dar es Salaam – Kilimanjaro – Doha: The service increases from May 12th a week and rises from 18 June to September 7 to 14 a week, which is operated from 787-8.

Summary

The NS25 time plan from Qatar Airways reflects a strategic balance between route extensions, aircraft optimizations and seasonal adjustments.
