Quiet start into the week

Hazard, Ky. (Wymt) – The beginning of the working week offers sunny sky and seasonal high temperatures.

First alarm weather days:

  • Tuesday (3/4)
  • Wednesday (3/5)

DISCUSSION:

After a much cooler weekend, the temperatures will increase today. Expect sunny until sunny with heights in the 50s and light winds. The winds absorb overnight and bring deep stalls to the middle to upper 30s.

Tuesday will be particularly warmer than on Monday and reached heights in the mid -1960s. The day will primarily be cloudy, but the chances of storms will increase in the evening in terms of most cities overnight. These storm options will continue until Wednesday.

The first Alert weather team issued a first Alert weather day for both Tuesday and on Wednesday, since the potential for storms with strong wind speeds is the main concern.

From Tuesday morning, there are gusts of wind in the 20s, which could increase in the upper 30s and low 40s if the system approaches Ostkentucky. This weather system could produce even greater gusts in certain areas up to the 1950s, with the top wind in the 20s.

While the system goes through, the temperatures quickly fall into the 1930s overnight and may bring a winter mix or snow chance on Thursday morning. The rainfall should decrease around the day, which leads to a clear time on Thursday and Friday before the next probability of rain occurs from Friday to Saturday over night.

I wish you a nice Monday!
