Rainy Day Fund must remain off -limits | News, sports, jobs

We share the concerns of the state MP Joe Hamm, R-Hepburn Township, with regard to the plan of governor Josh Shapiro, to draw money from the state's rainy fund in order to close the gaps in his own spending plan.

As Hamm stated in an article in the edition of Sun Gazette on February 14th, the state does not have privilege that it is intended to pull money from the fund at a certain point in time.

In addition to the legality of the proposal, the ear marker is for a good reason – a recession leads to job losses and families who have to struggle with the loss of jobs.

The solution is not to record flimsy rational for why the protective measures for the Rainy Day can be ignored or on unpopular sources of income that may not have support in order to have reality such as marijuana legalization and tax or a shattering tax on skills .

As we found in our editorial on February 10th, the solution is simple: less output.

After a parade of household cycles that spend ever higher expenses for press, the people in Pennsylvania earn a state government that recognizes the limits and restrictions of the families of the families and has committed itself to promoting a more attractive climate for people in our state to come and create jobs and work,
