Registration begins for the A-100 hike from March 7 | News, sports, jobs

Regardless of whether you are striving for the full 100 miles or more moderate removal, hikers can choose your challenge and accept the adventure on your own conditions. The A-100 Challenge was designed for hikers of all levels of experience so that the participants can determine their own goals.

“Out and backlays let people go the distance they want”, “ Organizer Tina Toole explained. “Some will continue to push while others find their perfect challenge in a shorter hike.”

Since its foundation in 2010, the event has promoted the philosophy of “Wander your own hike.” This motto is well received by many, since it can be a personal triumph to complete 25 miles.

“For some, 40 miles could be their Mount Everest”, “ Toole shared. “It's about challenging yourself at your own pace.”

The trail offers a variety of terrain, including moderate upgrading climbs that contribute to experience without being overwhelming. Those who hike in long -distance sticks will find the event as a supportive environment to test their perseverance.

“If you have never made a backpack before, this can be a great introduction.” An earlier participant noticed. “It's a challenge, but you can always come back and try again or strive for another distance.”

Registration for the 2025 A-100 Challenge will open on Friday, March 7, at 12 p.m. and closes Friday, March 14, at 12 p.m. or when the capacity is reached. The challenge takes place from June 6th to 8th, with hikers travel south to the north. The event is not supported, which means
