Renovation plans for Krug Park in the future











(St. Joseph, Mo.) The renovation work from Krug Park are forward as planned.

In the next three years, Krug Park will receive a multi-million dollar faceling elevator.

Jeff Atkins, deputy director of St. Joseph Parks and Recreation, explains: “The first activity will take place again, mainly in the area of ​​the bowl and then in the maintenance area that is developed. It is not the case that it is not in use or use part of the park, so that it does not really affect the parking.”

The amphitheater is converted into an open space for events.

Atkins says: “The plan for the bowl we know, the Big Crud Bowl, now that we know that it is becoming more of a festival use, they are used for the North Side autumn festival or the North Side Festival. In the past, this type of festival, a regional event that could organize once or two once a year.”

The castle area will also record some major changes.

Some parks visitors were optimistic in the future of the park. Layla Fry says: “I think it will bring a lot of new people and just come together and just enjoy the park and the whole story that it has.”

Skylar Owens adds: “I am very excited about it. It looks abandoned for me. And I only talked about how it would be really cute for a wedding location.
