Republicans are calling for the “Integrity of the CT” – NBC Connecticut to

The Republican head of state and government of Connecticut have applied for a federal examination of the integrity of the state's electoral system, citing alleged election crimes in Bridgeport.

Five people were arrested last week after an examination of the lack of voices during the Mayor cycle of Bridgeport 2023.

Inspectors of the public prosecutor's office arrested Wanda Geter-Pataky, 68, Alfredo Castillo, 53, Maria Pereira, 57, Jazmarie Melendez, 26, and Margaret Joyce, 45.

The Republican leaders of the General Assembly of Connecticut wrote to US general Prosecutor Pam Bondi as a formally an investigation as to whether election crimes in Bridgeport are part of a larger, coordinated efforts to defraud voters, according to civil servants in the state.

Castillo, a democratic city council in Bridgeport, was one of the arrested and is suspended several election -related charges. The Republican legislators ask federal civil servants to check whether tactics such as ballot papers, fake, coercion and more are used elsewhere in Connecticut.

“The city council's own words of the Castillo city council indicate a broader operation in the game, the efforts to use the top -class democratic candidates at a state and federal level,” said the Republican leader of House, Vincent Candelora. “We cannot ignore the possibility that these corrupt practices go beyond bridging.”

GOP leaders of the state also mention that the legislator did not pass any election security after the examination of Bridgeport.

NBC Connecticut has made a comment on democratic leaders and the secretary of the state, but has not yet heard.
