Results delay -Panik scholarship

Thousands of students and universities of the public sector can be withdrawn from the Honhaar scholarships of the Punjab government due to a delay in issuing their results.

The result card is mandatory to apply for the scholarship system until the last date of February 28th. According to sources, most of the students whose results have not yet been declared by the universities are from the third to eighth semesters.

The Department of Punjab Higher Education has published a letter to the administration of the universities of the public sector and asked you to solve the problem of the students immediately so that you can apply for the scholarships.

The sources said thousands of university and college students who were faced with the announcement of their results, even though they wanted to apply for the Honhaar scholarships of the Punjab government. The government had launched the scholarship system in order to offer financial support earned and talented students from the province.

The submission of applications for the Honhaar scholarships is in progress in February 28th.

“We are three sisters who study at universities while our parents are poor and have a hard time fighting to pay for our fees. I do a job to continue my studies so that I can acquire a degree. She said her classmates had not applying for the scholarships due to the delay in announcing the results. She claimed that the responsible officials had no unsuspecting whether the students' fear was approaching as a deadline for submitting the applications.

Officials from the Department of Higher Education in Punjab also commented concerns about the delay in the notice of results. The department wrote a letter to the universities of the public sector and asked them to immediately announced the results of the students.

A high -ranking civil servant of the Department of Higher Education in Punjab said that the attention of the Vice Chancellor was too delayed when asked about the delay in the announcement of the results of various semesters, which impose the students, the intent to apply for the Honhaar scholarship.

The official said that submitting the current result together with the previous academic performance was mandatory to apply for scholarships. The delay in the issue of the results leads to hurdles for the application of the students.

All VCS have been recommended to facilitate the students who apply for the scholarships by announcing the results at the earliest. College administrations were also requested by the letter in order to announce the results to the best interest of the students immediately, the official added. An official from Government College University Lahore also said that many students are not entitled to apply for the scholarships due to the delay.
