Reward for tips in Midway Hit-and-Run-NBC 7 San Diego

The authorities applied for the public on Tuesday for help in the search for the driver who left a pedestrian with serious injuries in a hit and run in San Diego.

On February 4, at 7:51 a.m., a 53-year-old male pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle to the west of the 3500 Sports Arena Boulevard in the Midway District.

“The driver of the vehicle did not identify and fled from the collision scene. The victim suffered a broken hip and was brought to a local hospital for medical treatment,” reported the sheriff's office.

The Sheriff officials said that the suspect's vehicle may be a White 2014 to 2017 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle lacked its passenger side mirror module and may have light to moderate damage to the front right board.

The authorities asked everyone with information about the identity or location of the suspect and/or the suspect's vehicle to call the San Diego police department under number 858-495-7813 or crime stopper at 888-580-8477.

Crime Stopers offers everyone with information that leads to an arrest, a reward of $ 1,000.
