Rhode Island -Mann under three in Swansea Human trade in human trade

Swansea, mass. (WLNE) – According to the Swansea Police Department, three men were arrested in human trade operation due to alleged participation.

David J. Afriyie, 19, from Pawtucket, Joseph Wood, 38 from Hanson and Manuel R. Costa, 39, from Westport was accused by 18 and attempt to commit a crime (rape of a child under the age of 16).

The three suspects were said to have met in a designated area in Swansea with a hidden officer who posed as a person under the age of 16.

The police said that the suspects believed that they had a minor to participate in a sex law.

The deposit for all three suspects was set to 5,000 US dollars until an indictment is available.

Costa recorded a deposit and was released, while Afriyia and Wood were held in the Bristol County House of Correction in New Bedford overnight.

All three suspects are set up on Wednesday on Wednesday before the River District Court case.
