Ring, Ombogo set up CCIW recordings and claims personal awards at 2025 CCIW indoor championships

Kenosha, Wis. – North Park Track & Field culminated a number of athletes at the right time and presented last Friday and Saturday at the 2025 College Conference in Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) championships in Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW). Ombogo enjoyed a qualification from day to day of 6.35 in the 55 m shot before he had one of the best days of his career on Saturday. The two-sports athlete left everyone behind during the 55-meter and 200 m finals. It was not just more than a tenth of a second faster than the second place in the 55 m arm AND CCIW All-Time Record in the event to secure 10 points for North Park. This 55 -M period is eight in the history of Division III.


Ombogo was the only athlete who ended with a sub-22.0 in the 200 m fittings board and earned first place and 10 more points for the Vikings. But that's not all. Another final qualification game was junior jumper Wesley McCloudof the four points for the Viking Herren squad. With a jump of 1.88 m, McCloud took the fifth of 14 in the high jump.

Mason Wilson was just outside the point -Geters at the start and raised a personal record of 13.51 m to end in the upper third – ninth of 31 throw.
