Rockford Cafe sells cake to celebrate the PI day

Rockford, Ill. (Wifr) – Friday, March 14th, is 3/14, the favorite day of Math Lovers: Pi Day.

For this occasion, Katie's Cup brought cake from Norske Nook in Deforest, Wisconsin. Customers can enjoy different flavors, including apple, cherry, bananas and coconut cream.

“This is the first time that I did the PI day just because I've been out of the loop a bit lately, but I saw it and jumped up directly,” said Wally Haas when he recorded his cake at Katies Cup.

The cakes will be available on Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Katie's Cup for collection.

Each cake costs 25 US dollars. You will support programs and community events from Katie's Cup such as the car and coffee program from April 5.

“The cakes are thick. They are delicious, rich and creamy. Especially the banana cream and the coconut cream and the chocolate cream, ”said Michael Thomas, one of Katie's Cup Board members.
