Rockstar Games acquires video games Deluxe, now known as rock star Australia

Rockstar Games took over the developer based in Sydney Video Games Deluxe and renamed Rockstar Australia.

Video games Deluxe worked on the new publications by La Noire and La Noire: The VR case files, in addition to upgrades for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy-Definitive Edition.

“It was an honor to work closely with Rockstar Games in the past decade,” said Brendan McNamara, founder of Video Games Deluxe. “We are thrilled to be part of Rockstar Games and continue our efforts to make the best games possible.”

Rockstar Games director of the publishing house Jennifer Kolbe added: “After working closely together for many years, we look forward to connecting video games Deluxe as rock star Australia.”

Video games Deluxe was founded in 2013 by the former team Bondi Creative Director McNamara. Team Bondi developed the Detective Game La Noire published by Rockstar in 2011.

The game had a long development cycle that was supposedly affected with poor working conditions. Team Bondi joined these accusations in 2011 after the separation from Rockstar.
