Rory McIlroy takes Heckler's phone during the training round in the virus video

Rory McIlroy won this week both online and within the golf community of Wellen after taking a rear of a rear.

A now viral video that is shared on social media platforms such as X shows the 35 -year -old Pro -Golfer, who goes to someone on the sidelines, on Tuesday, March 11th, at TPC Sawgrass in Florida for her phone.

ESPN identified the person who, as Golfin of the University of Texas, Luke Potter, reported on Thursday, March 13, the junior has been apologizing for his behavior since then – which was supposedly an indication of Mcilroy's poor performance during the master 2011.

Although the remarks that led to the incident, the video recorded in the fans cannot be completely heard, Mcilroy approached after an exercise in front of the Potter player championship and said: “Let me see your phone?”

An apparently confused potter handed him the device and then watched Mcilroy looked through the phone as he went away.

The entire incident was over 15 seconds, but that was hardly the end of Potter's problems.

According to Golf.com, TPC Sawgrass student was accompanied by violating the official fan behavioral code, which includes “verbal or physical harassment of players” and “distraction of a player or a disturbance of the game”.

His phone was later returned to him.

“Look, I just made a mistake and I take the possession for it. I apologize for it. That is all that has to be said,” said Potter to The Gold Channel, by Espn. “It's just a good learning experience. Yes, I apologize.”

His trainer John Fields said Potter would have consequences for his actions.

“He had no idea that what came out of his mouth would lead to this way,” Fields told Golf.com.

“With regard to our program of the University of Texas, I think it is an embarrassing moment. It is particularly sensitive to me because our program is based on respect for the game, and I would tell you that we train 18 to 22-year-olds on a normal basis and not always make the right call, and that is my responsibility as a trainer and if you make a mistake, it is a learning moment, ”added Fields.

According to ESPN the Full -scale Star deviated questions about the incident and said: “I am really glad that I shot 66 today” instead of commenting on the topic.

In the third season of the Netflix documents that have been broadcast last month, McIlroy has opened up how his personal and professional life was sometimes associated with each other.

“I have problems being the best golfer, the best husband, the best father,” he said in a confessional.

The series gave a look at how he worked on the news of his divorce (and then subsequent reconciliation) with his seven -year -old wife Erica Stoll.
