Rosie Brennan returns from injuries at World Championships

After the World Cup Les Rouses, France, in January the Parkite Cross Country ski skier Rosie Brennan took time to leave the tour for a minute. Brennan fought against non -mentioned health problems and thought that some free time to relax and train in Anchorage, Alaska, could do something good.

Brennan trained hard for weeks and finally felt good enough to give first -class races. Thursday at the World Championships in Trondheim, Norway, Brennan returned in a sprint race.

Brennan took the 30th place in the sprint. Her US team colleague Julia Kern was fifth. The event runs with five further competitions until March 9.

Brennan is grateful to only be on the snow in Trondheim again.

“I felt like I was in one place to return to the race and do things again,” said Brennan. “This is my sixth world championship.”

“I am actually grateful that it is as late as it is how it took the time to recover and clarify things.”

Brennan added that she would characterize the event as a success if it can reach its limits. She focused on the championship all season.

Brennan believes that all of their careers will help to develop. She says she has learned to grow in other areas of her life.

Brennan has six top 5 positions for career championships, including two at the last in Slovenia in 2023.

“The Olympic Games are not on my radar at all,” added Brennan. “World championships are just as big.

“It was heartbreaking not to have the season for which I trained and not the structure that I planned for these championships, but that's life.”

Brennan loved hearing roaring from the masses of the championships on Thursday. They have easily prepared warmth and rainy conditions and will continue to do so.

Brennan and The Field get a few days of break before you clash with your skis on Sunday on Sunday for the 20 km long skiathlon race. The 36-year-old is proud to be an excellent television case. The championships are changing March 9 with a mass start race of 50 km.

Due to a lack of time and from the form from the form, Brennan is the 39th place in the world. She became seventh place last season and took fourth place the previous year.

After the championships, Brennan and the field will complete their seasons with three world championships all over Europe by the end of March.
