Ross County Edge Kilmarnock as a visitor suffers the third defeat in the week

Kilmarnock fell on the third defeat in a week when Ross County jumped back from a defeat during the week to achieve a decisive victory, which brings it within two points of the Scottish Premiership Top six.

The visitors dominated the early stages in Dingwall, but Marley Watkins' shots in the first half were saved by Jordan Amissah when they were one to one.

County punished Slack Kilmarnock in the 35th minute when Kieran Phillips reacted quickly to Jordan White's buried efforts.

That was the only real chance of the hosts throughout the game, but the defense efforts, which were admired by Kacper Lopata, helped keep kilometers to keep in chess.

The other chance that they had also landed in the back of the network when Nohan Kehneh steered up close after a strange game in the Kilmarnock backline, but Var saved the visitors when a foul was discovered.

The country is up to eighth place, while Kilmarnock is 10th place, and while they are only six points from the top half, Manager Derek Mcinnes admitted that this was a game they had to win.

Among them they remain three points above 11th place Dundee and six points over the lower residents of St. Johnstone.
