Rounds with heavy rain drive to Florida, Südflorida under fall flood risks

The forecast is finely coordinated, and we expect the heaviest precipitation to fall over parts of South Florida on Monday. The peninsula will receive effects of the low pressure system overnight to Monday. The Panhandle can expect that a few rain shower will move in in the evening and the morning hours on Monday. The heaviest rainfall remains off the coast, but will continue to travel to East Südost.

Until the sunrise on Monday, some downpours from Nordflorida were able to travel towards Central Florida along the I-75. On Monday in the early afternoon, some scattered thunderstorms along the southern half could be moved by Florida. Nevertheless, Südflorida would have received rounds from showers in the morning. Südflorida is expected to receive heavier downpours and some isolated intensive storms between 11 a.m. and in the afternoon. Although we do not expect a widespread storm, some thunderstorms could have harmful wind gusts of 58 miles per hour or more, since the majority of the moisture will travel over South Florida. There could be some areas in which floods develop.

Overall, we expect a coding of rainfall, which could reach 1 inch in North Florida through central florida. Some isolated areas, especially in central florida, could reach 2.5 inches. For Südflorida, the precipitation can be between one and a half and 2.5 inches. But there could be an isolated amount with 4 inches.

Remember that Florida received only 1.48 inch rain this year, especially for the station at Miami International Airport. This is below average for this period with a deficit of over 2.5 inches.

Expect a gradual clearing on the entire peninsula in the course of this system and improve from north to south from Monday evening. In Südflorida, however, rain showers are still spread overnight on Monday and Tuesday morning. On Tuesday afternoon, the entire Peninsula of North Winden is dominated, which also brings a lower humidity and very convenient temperatures.

Tuesday and Wednesday remain with below -average high temperatures along most Peninsula. The high will be in central florida in the low 70s and between the 1970s in South Florida. Lowe's remains above average for this season all week.
