Runnin 'Rebel's record season Sweep against San Diego State with 74-67 Senior Night-Sieg

Las Vegas (uninstrebels.com) – – Julian Rishwain achieved a career high of 26 points as a basketball team of the UNLV men (17-13, 11-8) on Tuesday evening in the senior evening, 74-67.

The victory gave the Runnin 'Rebellen the season over the Aztecs and marked the first time since the 2012/13 season that ELT won both games of the regular season through SDSU.

Rishwain shot 9 out of 13 from the field, including a career high SIX career high in his senior citizen evening, while three other rebel players scored in two figures: Jaden Henley With 17 points, senior Jalen Hill With 11 and senior Jailen Bedford At 10th Bedford had eight rebounds while Hill six grip.

SDSU was led by Nick Boyd with 19 points, while Miles Byrd recorded a double double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Byrd also had six templates, four steals and three blocks.

Close game: The game contained 11 lead changes and 11 ties and was a two-point competition at half-time, with the Aztecs having a 34-32 advantage. None of the two teams led more than four points until a jump from Hill with 7:19 gave a lead of 57-52. It was a two-point game with less than a four-minute lead, but UNG withdrew up to nine too late.

Battle of the backstream won: UnlV also won the battle of the boards that San Diego State 36-33 exceeded. The Runnin 'rebels improved their record to 11-2 this season when they overtook their opponent.

Statistics of the game: In the second half, REV shot 65.2% (15 of 23), including 55.6% to 3 points, to end the game with 51.0% (25 out of 49) from the field and 50% (12 out of 24) from a 3-point range. UNLV is now 7-0 this season if you shoot 50% or better off the field.

City: “Obviously it could not be happy and proud for the boys. Especially in the senior evening there are always thoughts about the emotions and the day for seniors, and if it is influenced. But for this group there has been nothing else than to energize.
