Russia's Putin agrees with a 30-day attack on the Ukraine energy goals | Russia-Ukraine was news

Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to set the attacks on the target infrastructure goals in Ukraine 30 days after a call with US President Donald Trump.

Putin ordered the Russian military to stop strikes against energy facilities, the Kremlin said in a statement after a long call between the two leaders on Tuesday. But he stopped accepting a wider 30-day ceasefire proposal from the United States that Ukraine said it was ready to implement it.

The leader of Russia expressed concerns that such an armistice could be used by Ukraine to mobilize more soldiers and to resume the federal states during a break.

Putin also indicated Trump that “the key condition for preventing the escalation of the conflict and work on its solution through political and diplomatic means should be the full cessation of foreign military aid and the provision of information on Kyiv,” said the Kremlin.

In an explanation, the White House said that the leaders agreed that the conversations about a potential maritime ceasefire and a wider ceasefire would begin “immediately” in the Middle East.

Trump and Putin agreed to move towards peace, starting with “an armistice of energy and infrastructure as well as technical negotiations on the implementation of a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea, full ceasefire and permanent peace”.

On his social platform, Trump wrote that the conversation with Putin was a “very good and productive”.

It was not immediately clear whether Ukraine would agree to adjust attacks on the Russian energy infrastructure.

The attacks on energy goals were a constant feature of the full invasion of Ukraine in Russia, with the strikes of Moscow regularly forcing river sections across the country against the critical energy infrastructure, which was influenced from heating and water distribution to sewage and public health.

Thousands of people in Central Lucraine were left without electricity on Tuesday after a nationwide Russian attack with more than 130 drones that damaged the critical infrastructure were involved.

Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries, oil deposits and industrial locations have also increased since January. In a few weeks in February, the attacks eliminated up to about 10 percent of Russian refinement capacity when the refineries were the hardest, according to an analysis of the Reuters news agency.

Alan Jazera, Alan Fisher, reported from Washington, DC, probably said that the proposal was limited to attacks on energy goals.

“The Ukrainians will be concerned that the Russians will use this time to achieve more land profits, which is why they do not agree with a whole ceasefire,” he said.

“This is a concern for [Kyiv] And something you had applied with the Americans in the past. “

Dorsa Jabbari from Al Jazeera from Moscow said the call seemed to show that diplomacy was “some momentum”.

“The Russians are guaranteed to seek that Ukraine will not use this time to mobilize and resume.

“The Kremlin made it very clear that this is a condition for any kind of long -term peace residence,” she added.

Europeans back Ukraine

The European leaders said they would continue to strengthen their support for Kyiv.

“We agree that Ukraine can count on us, that Ukraine can count on Europe and that we are not allowed [Kyiv] Down, ”said the outgoing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and spoke to French President Emmanuel Macron at a press conference in Berlin.

“We will continue to support the Ukrainian army in its resistance war against Russian aggression,” said Macron.

According to Scholz, a complete ceasefire should be agreed as soon as possible.

“The next step must be a complete ceasefire for Ukraine and as soon as possible.
