Sacrifice of fatal Springfield shootings identified

Springfield, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -The authorities have identified the person who died after a late evening shootout in Springfield.

The spokesman for the Springfield police, Ryan Walsh, said that the officials were called in the 100 Block of the Orange Street on Friday around 10:50 p.m.

When the police arrived, they found a male shot victim in a vehicle. He was brought to the Baystate Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.

On Tuesday, the Hampden public prosecutor identified the victim as a 42-year-old Aubrey Wyatt from Springfield.
