Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Leck suggests a larger cover display and a more modern appearance

According to the new Lecks from Onleaks, Samsung provides some remarkable design changes with the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7. While earlier reports have proposed a cover display in folder style, Samsung seems to go in a different direction-a one that corresponds more with the competitors.

A larger cover that takes over the upper half

The biggest design change? Samsung takes off the cover display in the folder style and opts for a full width that integrates both rear cameras into the display area. This design shift reflects what other brands have already introduced and creates a more seamless, more modern aesthetics for the flip7.

Instead of the previously rumored 3.6-inch cover screen, the new display reports on 4 inches and maximizes the available storage space in the upper half of the device. This change makes the external display far more usable and enables better app interactions, notifications and even camera preview without opening the phone.

Refined design, the same core foldable experience

In addition to the extended cover display, the rest of the design of the Flip7 remains largely unchanged. The device measured 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm (thickening to 9.1 mm on the camera belly). Inside it is rumored that it can be seen:

  • 6.8-inch interior foldable display
  • 50MP main camera + 12 MP Ultrawide sensor
  • 12 GB RAM
  • 256 GB or 512 GB storage options

With regard to the performance, the flip7 is expected to be operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite from Qualcomm or Samsung Exynos 2500 depending on the region.

A necessary development for the flip series

Samsung risked back in the design race with other foldable manufacturers who push the screens with full width. The new Flip7 update ensures that the device feels like a foldable Next General and not like a small iteration of its predecessor.

Although the core shape factor remains unchanged, this newly designed cover display could be a player for user-friendliness-a more functional, more impressive external screen experience.

We have to wait for the official unveiling of Samsung later this year, but at the moment these leaks indicate that the Flip7 is developing into an urgently needed refinement of Samsung's Flip Phone set-up.
