Samsung One UI 7 Update publication date, complete list of the legitimate devices, new Galaxy AI functions, everything we know

The one UI 7 -update from Samsung based on Android 15 is expected to introduce in April.

The highly expected UI 7 -update from Samsung is almost there and brings large visual and functional upgrades for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. However, the rollout was slower than expected, since no single galaxy device received the update. A recently trapped timeline proposes if different devices may receive the update. A UI 7 -update: supported devices

Samsung has not officially published a list of legitimate devices, but based on the software update directive, the following models will be expected to receive a UI 7:

  • Galaxy S series: S24, S23, S22, S21 and their variants (plus, ultra- and Fe models).
  • Galaxy Z series: Fold and flip models from the latest Fold 6 and Flip 6 to older Fold 3 and Flip 3.
  • Galaxy Tab series: Tab S10, S9, S8 and your plus, ultra and FE versions as well as some budget models such as Tab A9 and Tab Active 5.
  • Galaxy a series: A73, A54, A34, A24, A15 and even the entry level A05S.
  • Galaxy M and F series: M55, M35, F54 and F15 are expected to receive the update.

A UI 7 -update -Release bar (leakage)

While Samsung has officially announced a publication plan, a leak suggests that the update will be set up in April 2025. Here is a look if key models may receive a UI 7:

  • April 18: Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
  • April 25: Galaxy S23 series, Z -Fold 5, Z Flip 5 and A54.
  • May 16: Galaxy S23 FE, S22 series, Z -Fold 4, Z Flip 4 and A34.
  • May 23: Galaxy S21 series, Z -Fold 3, Z Flip 3, A53 and A33.

It is expected that other devices of Galaxy A, M, F and Tab will receive a UI 7 in the first half of 2025. However, this data is based on leaks, so that delays are possible.

A UI 7 brings several improvements for the design, adaptation and AI-driven functions.

Design and UI improvements

  • Start screen: Enables free form layouts, stickers and better integration into Samsung's Home Up app.
  • Lock screen: Other watch styles, customizable fonts and widget placement options.
  • Fast settings: Wiping from the upper left opening opens notifications, while the upper right swipe opens the fast settings.

Galaxy AI functions

  • Writing assistant: Improves selected text everywhere in the user interface.
  • Call transcriptions: Converted calls in 20 languages ​​into text.
  • Now briefly: Use AI to display relevant information based on user habits.
  • Audio & object rubber: Removes unwanted noises and objects from videos.
