Sanible policeman saves suffocating baby

Sanibel, Fla. –

We are now seeing the moments when a police officer from Sanibel saved a suffocated baby life on Christmas Eve.

Gulf Coast News guides you through the video and spoke exclusively to the officer who saved him.

Sanibel Corporal James Serrago immediately jumps into his police car and heals to help a suffocating baby. He turns into a parking lot on the Periwinkle Way next to Jerry's food.

When he arrives there, the parents give him their boy. You say that he should do Serrago what he needs. Serrago's training occurs and he keeps striking back on the baby as he tells the baby that he is doing well.

The parents show that they gave him a piece of Kantaloupe that was too big and they didn't know.

Serrago and the parents remain calm with everything.

“He gets air because I feel his stomach moves up and down,” he said.

It is a day when he will never forget.

“It's emotional,” said Serrago. “Even now you can see that I am suffocated because it was a hard day, but I'm glad I could be there.”
