Saturday shooting near Fairground Park leaves 1 dead back

St. Louis – A man was shot in North St. Louis on Saturday evening.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the officials reacted to a shootout in Peck 4200 Block on Saturday at 6.20 p.m.

The police said the officials arrived to find a lot that surrounds a 44-year-old man with several gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Murder detectives accepted the ongoing investigation, the police said.

By Sunday morning, the police had not shared the victim's name, which led to the shootout or whether arrests had been made.
