Scherfeuer Hydrant flooded T-Mobile in Los Angeles and partially builds caves in

A T-Mobile building in Los Angeles was seen, as was flooded by a sheared fire hydrant on Sunday afternoon.

La City's fire brigade said that she received a call shortly before 3 p.m. to overthrow reports from a truck into a hydrant on the corner of West Nordhoff Street and Sepulveda Boulevard.

Officials did not immediately say what prompted the driver to travel and hit the hydrant, but Rachel Menitoff from KTLA was later announced that it was a hit-and run.

The film material from the scene showed water that bubbled up from the hydrant up into the air, and the crews arrived to find heavy water damage in a nearby, one -story commercial building.

Due to a large amount of water that falls on the roof of the T-Mobile, LAFD said: “The structural integrity of the building is impaired.”

Videos from CITZEN.com showed water, cables and panels that fell from the ceiling. Several centimeters of water filled the bottom of the T-Mobile building and flowed under the tables that held the phone and the technology displays up.

In the meantime, the film material from outside the T-Mobile showed significant cracks that split over the top of the building and led to a corner of the ceiling locked.

The police authority in Los Angeles said that at some point a “help call” was generated at the location and asked additional units to respond to the control of the crowd.

T-Mobile published the following explanation on Sunday evening in relation to the incident:

We are grateful that our employees and customers are in safety. The business is closed and our team quickly works on the next steps to ensure that customers in the region have access to what they need. In the meantime there are a few other shops nearby (north on Devonshire and Sepepulveda together with one in Van Nuys and Chase St.) that can help the customer. We have a business locator on our T-Mobile website Here When people help to find an immediate option near them.

LAFD said no injuries were reported.
