Se firefighters react to grass fire | News, sports, jobs

Sleepy Eye – Sleepy Eye Firefighters reacted to a grass fire in Stark Township, about four miles southeast of Sleepy Eye on Friday.

Fire chief Aaron Schauman said that pumpers, tanker and grass -Mr -fire brigade cars were used to combat a fire that was called around 10:45 a.m.

The second deputy fire chief Jeff Zinniel said that the windy conditions made the fire more difficult. Firefighters trained hoses on tree stumps and branches after they deleted the burning of grass.
