Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Team says that CNN has changed the alleged Cassie Assault video

Sean “Diddy” Combs' legal team and the public prosecutor in his federal case claim that the explosive CNN video, which his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura allegedly abused in 2016, was processed and that the original footage was destroyed, which was inadmissible in his commercial and rapid case.

Last May, CNN published shocking pictures of Combs in 2016, which Ventura attacked in the Intercontinental Hotel, which caused the Mogul to give an apology video with the incident.

A submission to New York City today claimed that CNN bought the only known copy of the surveillance material, uploaded it to free processing software and changed the video. In the letter it says that CNN destroyed the original film material, “although he knew and reported repeatedly about the federal examinations about the federal investigation”.

In the letter it also states that the film material published for the public that CNN has published in significant respect was “essentially changed”, including the coverage of the timeline, the change in the video sequence and the acceleration of the video, so that the incident played faster than it. As a result, the letter states: “The CNN videos do not show the events in question.”

Representatives of CNN and Combs did not react immediately diversity's request for comment.

In the registration it is found that you will enter an application to exclude the video from the use in Combs' attempt to start in May. While Combs' case does not have to do with the 2016 incident, the film material should be used to show that it had violent tendencies.

Combs is currently detained in Brooklyn when he is waiting for the process. In September 2024 he was charged for scrap conspiracy; Sex trade with violence, fraud or coercion; and transport to prostitution.
