Searched suspect with criminal history led the UVA-reason for protection in place

Charlottesville, Va. (WVIR)-The hours of searching for 19-year-old Nyeem Hill has not yet been completed, but the police are no longer at a threat on the University of Virginia.

It all started around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25th.

According to State Police Virginia, a state troops tried to stop a Chevrolet Impala on the Fontaine Avenue because of an expired inspection sticker.

The driver refused to stop and a persecution began.

The suspect took the Ivy Road output, jumped out of the car while he was still moving, and ran away on foot.

The suspect's car hit a police cruiser and two other vehicles. There were no injuries.

Nyeem Hill has a well -known crime history and gang affiliation. He is currently being sought in Albemarle County.

“Hill has active arrest warrants from the Albemarle County police for malicious wound, malicious wounding through mob and gang activity,” said Matthew Demlein, coordinator of the VSP public relations, “additional charges in connection with the persecution of Virginia State Police.

Hill is called 6'1 '' African Americans. He was last seen how he was wearing a gray hoodie and dark jogging pants. A gray hoodie that corresponds to this description was found later.
