Cedar Rapids, Iowa (KCRG) season, but warmer temperatures return to St. Patrick's Day.
Sunny and seasonal
It is a seasonal cool morning in East -Iowa with temperatures in the 20s and 30s and wind cold in the teenager and individual digits. Clouds will move to the east this morning and leave a sunny sky behind. The temperatures will rise in the mid -1940s this afternoon, but wind cold will be stuck in the 1930s. Overnight we have a partially cloudy sky with depths that cool down into the middle to upper 20s.
St. Patrick's Day & Tuesday
The St. Patrick's Day looks happy with a mainly sunny sky and heights that reach the upper 1960s. It will be sunny and warm on Tuesday with heights in the 70s and a mixture of sun and clouds.

Rain & snow
The pattern will change on Wednesday when a low-pressure system moves into the area and brings widespread rain and snow showers to the region. With this system in our northwestern counties it is possible to collect snow. The potential storm on Wednesday is still a few days away. So look for updates for the forecast.

Dry end of the week
At the end of the week, the dry conditions will return with a mixture of sun and clouds on Thursday and Friday with heights in the 40s and 50s.
