NHL players who want to complete their college degree will have a smooth path thanks to an agreement that was announced on Wednesday between their Union and Boston College.

The deal would make it easier for the current and former players to complete the Woods College of Advancing Studies from BC, an arm of the university that offers flexible paths to certificates and degrees for non-traditional students. Among the alumes: Marty Walsh, Executive Director of the NHL Players Association.
